Holy Silence, offered every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 12-12:45 p.m., is a worship service that invites participants to interact with God’s holy presence through abundant silence.
Surrounded by our beautiful stained glass windows, illuminated by a few candles and dimmed lighting, we hold our sanctuary open as a place of refuge and peace. There are no readings and no sermon. The service is bracketed by a chime and an opening and closing prayer, although you are free to arrive and go at any time. Simply enjoy the silence, or a handout with specific guidance is available. Spend 10 minutes, a half hour, or more in Holy Silence, and thrive in the presence of God through the Holy Spirit.
• Please note, there’s parking available right across the street, but paid parking is in effect. The first 30 minutes are free, and after that the fee is only 25 cents for each additional half hour. No matter how long you stay, please avoid getting a ticket by entering your license plate number in one of the parking kiosks in the lot (even for the 30 free minutes). Coins and credit cards are accepted. You do not need to place the receipt in your window.
