At Laundry Love, we help low-income residents in our neighborhood do their laundry for free on the last Thursday of each month.

Laundry Love is a shared ministry of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, and Cathedral of the Beloved, with significant support from Thrivent Financial. We are grateful to North Street Coin-Op for being our monthly site in downtown Pittsfield.

With the cost of food, housing, and other necessities increasing as a proportion of income, many of our neighbors need to make choices each week, like whether or not they have the money to do their laundry. Inspired by the national Laundry Love movement, we decided that we could help. In an average month, we help nearly 40 people wash and dry 80+ loads of laundry.
